What is Ashiatsu Massage?
Ashi means “foot” and atsu means “pressure”.
Ashiatsu is an ancient form of massage that originated in Kerala, India. During this barefoot massage the therapist uses their feet to apply deep, luxurious, pain-fee compression strokes to the body. The therapist uses parallel bars suspended from the ceiling for balance, while the client lies comfortably on the massage table.
